     I write about "King Arthur".

     Arthur is just a boy, until he pulls a sword out of a stone. Suddenly, he is King of Britain in charge of a band of brave knights. But not everyone wants Arthur as their king. Soon, they are plotting against him.

     This story is interesting but it is filled with betrayal. I read it the first time in this time. I want to read this story of a Japanese version.

My hobbies

My hobbies are reading books, listening to music, singing songs, and watching movies. I like singing songs at karaoke. I often go to karaoke with my friends. I sing J-pop and western music. I belonged a chorus club in my high school days. I like chorus too. My favorite songs are Italian lieder. I've sung some Italian songs at a recital. It was very interesting. I have a valuable experience. I like reading books. My favorite book is "A Little Prince". It is a children's story but adults read it too. This story has kind and clear words. I was impressed by this story. Then it became my favorite book.

Dear host family,  

     My name is Kana. I'm 19 years old. We are a family of four, my father, my mother, my brother, and me. My father's name is Kazuo. He is a public employee. He is good at bowling and table tennis. My mother's name is Kumiko. She is a part-time worker. She is the shortest in my family. My brother's name is Kyohei. He is 17 years old. He goes to high school. He practices golf every day. He wants to be a professional golf player. He took piano lessons before. He is good at math. He is a very kindly person because he is an obedient boy. He also loves our family. Of course I love them too.
  
     By the way, I'm looking forward to meet you in this summer. I want to see many things and want to go to a lot of places. I'm not good at speaking English, but I study hard to talk smoothly with you.

     On the other hand, I have a part-time job now. I work at a movie theater. I work about 4 or 5 hours a day. I like this job because I enjoy waiting on customers.

Music and Drama

I like listening to music very much. My favorite music is classical music. I like chopin's piano pieces. I took piano lessons before. And my favorite TV program is Nodame Cantabile. This drama is a comedy. It is very interesting and a good lesson for me. A lot of music appear in this drama.

The words that said when only 6-year-old Mozart flipped Klavier in front of Mr. and Mrs.empress Maria Theresa in the Imperial Court of Vienna. The Georg Waagen climbing rope (1715-1777) was Imperial Court composer of Vienna in those days and was the famous musician called the Klavier player of husband Francis I of the empress. It is said, the Waagen climbing rope called at request of the child prodigy "cannot go unless you do music tucking up for me because I flip your one piece of concerto", and it is said that he did it in the just what.

Job Hunting

     Since Lehman shock in 2008, the aggravation of the slumping stock market in the stock market of Japan and the financial condition of the private enterprise by the dullness of the export industry by the strong yen is the serious situation for these several years there, and a tendency to restraint leads to the number of the new college graduate adopters. Furthermore, the economical influence of the East Japan great earthquake disaster of March 11, 2011 gradually spreads through the whole country (The withdrawal of employment offer is increasing rapidly, too). It is the situation that is not avoided that the finding employment front after 2012 becomes the great fierce battle by a rapid increase of the "finding employment wave life" and "repeating the same grade life" of these several years more.

     This sentence was related by a lecturer of the public employee lecture when I went to hear the briefing session today. I want to be a public employee because an income is stable, and the environment that woman is easy to commit is regulated well. The study to become a public employee wants to keep strong from now on while putting the private enterprise in the field of vision.

BR1-02: The Great Escape

     I write about the book " The Great Escape ".

     The animals escape and everything goes wild on Story Street when some bad boys break the gates at City Farm. But when a bad-tempered ostrich roams free in the school field, the boys wish they had never gone near City Farm at all.

     It is an interesting story. The four boys played a trick that they set all animals in City Farm free. However, they were caught by an animal in the end. And they were locked up in a pen. I think that mischief is certainly returned oneself.

Music I like

My favorite artists are "Backstreet Boys", "Avril Lavigne", "Miley Cyrus" , and "Nick Carter". I like western music very much. But I like J-pop and classical music too. My favorite song is "I want it that way" the best of all Backstreet Boys' songs. When I was a high school student, I listened it for the first time. Then I was fascinated by their songs. I have an friend who likes Backstreet Boys, and we want to go to karaoke to sing their songs. But it isn't realized yet. I like classical music as same as western music. Because I took piano lessons before. I sometimes go to a concert hall to listen to classical music. For example, music for the piano, orchestral music, and so on.

I like music very much. My favorite artists are "Backstreet Boys",  "Avril Lavigne", and so on. I listened to Backstreet Boys for the first time when I was a high school student. So my friend likes it for a long time, she was pleased to hear that I like it. We want to sing their songs karaoke, but it doesn't yet. I like Avril Lavigne since I was a high school student, too. part-time job

     I work at the movie theater as a part-time worker. I work to an average of 5 hours a day. There are 4 sections to work. Box office (tickets store), concession (foods store), floor (cleaning anywhere), and projection. I work at concession. We sell drinks, popcorn, hotdogs, and so on. We type cash registers, make some foods, clean the floor, and peddle many goods. I'm glad to see customers' happy faces. I like waiting on customers because it is a pleasure to look various reactions of customers. Occasionally, we are raised an objection, but it is a good experience in my life. The movie theater's staff is very kind and friendly. Thanks to them, the place is easy to work. I like there and I will work as a part-timer until I graduate from university.

BR1-01: Superdog

     I write about a book, "Superdog". This story has started since a family watch the TV program, "Dog of the Year Show". The TV program introduced many kinds of super dogs. For example, the dogs run so quickly and didn't make a mistake. Then the children said Floppy (the family's dog) , "Look at all these clever dogs on television. Why can't you do clever things like them?" But Floppy yawned and went back to sleep.

     Next day, the children and their friends tried Floppy to see if it could do some of the things they saw on television. Floppy thought, "I don't believe this." At that time, the friends' mother came round. She wanted to take everyone swimming. Floppy was pleased because he just wanted to find a quiet place to go to sleep. When they went out, Floppy crept up to children's room. He knew the children wouldn't be back for a long time. He was almost asleep when something made him open one eye. The magic key was glowing.

     Floppy was in a big city. The city was full of people and traffic. Everyone was busy. There was noise everywhere. He thougt, "So this is the big city! I've never seen so many people. And I've never seen such tall buildings. What a place!" He explored the city and helped many people in various ways. For example, saved a baby in a baby carriage from rolling down a hill, ran after a thief and grabbed him, and saved a drowning boy.

     There was a story about Floppy in the newspaper. Everywhere Floppy went, people said, "There's Superdog! He's a hero." But suddenly the magic key began to glow. It was time for Floppy's adventure to end.

     One of the children was cross when she found Floppy on her bed. She said, "What a bad dog you are, Floppy!" Floppy jumped off the bed, and crept downstairs. "I don't know," he thought. "I'm a hero one minute, and a bad dog the next." The children took Floppy outside. "It's time to do the Dog of the Year course again," they said. Suddenly Floppy ran off. He jumped over the fence and ran away as fast as he could.

     Floppy ran into the park and hid inside a giant pipe. "They won't find me in here," he thought. "I don't want to be the Dog of the Year, and I'm not Superdog. I'm just me. I'm just a floppy old dog who wants a bit of peace."

     After all, I thought "Oneself is oneself , no matter how oneself do." The best thing is to be an unvarnished person.

My Trip to Kagoshima

     I went to Kagoshima with my friends last year. My boyfriend drove a car and picked us up at 5 a.m. We got into his car and left Kumamoto for Kagoshima. So we didn't drive on an expressway, we took about 4 hours. We talked about many things but we have run out of topics. Then we played shiritori until we arrived Kagoshima. After that, we took lunch at Sukiya and left for Kagoshima aquarium. We watched many sea living things. We wanted to watch the dolphins' show but there was nothing good time slot. We bought souvenirs there and left for Hirakawa zoo. But it began to rain at that time. We put up an umbrella and walked to watch animals. When we watched monkeys, they threated us and growled. We wanted to watch koalas. We left for koalas' place. Most koalas slept when we arrived there. We disappointed it but they were very cute.
     After we finished to walk around the zoo, we got into a car and left for Kumamoto. Of course, we didn't drive on an expressway. But we were tired and slept in the car. I was little sorry for a driver. He was very tired when we arrived at Kumamoto. After that, we had dinner at an Okonomiyaki restaurant. We baked Okonomiyaki by ourselves. I enjoyed the trip and I want to go somewhere with this member again.

New semester

     New semester started in April 7. I was looking forward to begin classes because spring vacasion was too long. So I like to talk with my friends, I could hardly wait for meeting them.
     In my spring vacation, I worked part-time and practiced a chorus. I belonged the chorus club in my high school days and so I went to their musical performance. I sang in chorus as an old girl (OG) then. I enjoyed the music stage with my clubmates.
     I'd like to study harder than last year. My aim is getting some certifications. I will do my best.

First class

My first class in my life was elementary school's. But I don't remember it clearly. I remember first class in high school. I wasn't good at making friends, so I waited to come someone to talk with me. When the homeroom finished, a girl talked me soon. I made friends with her. We belonged the chorus club together. The chorus club has a tradition. We took part in a national chorus meet. Then we won a gold prize. I was very happy to be awarded it. We practiced pleasantly and cemented a friendship. I lived a full life at the first year in high school.
